Q&A

Your work in five words or less?
Toxic Bottom Mafia Boss

Turn Ons?
In the bedroom: pits.
Outside the bedroom: nothing makes me happier than a gallery I’ve never visited.

Turn Offs?
In the bedroom: deodorant.
Outside the bedroom: deodorant.

Favorite Video Game?
The Dead or Alive franchise, before it got mega-creepy, were the first games I played and definitely hold a nostalgic place of affection in my heart. The melodrama of the storylines, and plethora of female characters compared to other video games, spoke to me.

Favorite non-art pastime?
Volleyball and horse riding. I’m only athletic when it comes to wearing cute outfits.

Art Crush?
Zestybob will always be my biggest art crush.

Personal Crayon Color?
Bratty Yellow.
Yellow is my favorite color and is the one I have the most difficulty using in my pieces. Which makes sense because I’m a difficult piece of work myself.

Why make art?
I want to create as much romantic representation for South Asian men as possible. We’re overlooked often in the sphere of art when it comes to joy and beauty.

What's next?
A tarot deck! If I ever get around to finishing it…
