Turn Ons?
I find joy in the media! I especially love anything spooky. Podcasts, shows, movies you name it!
Turn Offs?
I hate seeing men spit in public, or when people don't say “thank you” if you hold the door open for them!
Favorite Video Game?
It's a tie between Zelda and Metroid games! But I'm gonna say Metroid because I love that you can be a female lead as a playable character as Samus. Plus I love the overall spooky, space horror atmosphere the games have. Reminds me of Alien which is my favorite film franchise!
Favorite non-art pastime?
I really do love to see movies or watch Horror movies in my bed. It's oddly calming and cozy for me. I adore found footage horror. I also enjoy collecting toys like action figures and dolls!
Art Crush?
I love the work of artist Mel Odom. Their work is beautiful, stylish, sexy and feels inherently queer.
Personal Crayon Color?
Purrfect Purple.
My favorite color is purple and my favorite comic book character is Catwoman. This color reminds me of her because her costume has incorporated the color purple in it off and on for years!
Why make art?
I've always been drawn to create art based on fashion, pop culture and anything else that inspires me. I think it's something that will always be inherent in me. I hope to inspire any budding queer artists to just keep creating even when they feel like their style, voice, or artwork doesn't matter, or has no audience. There is always room and space for more of us!
What's next?
I've been freelancing with Bratz which has been some of the most exciting work of my career so far! I look forward to any new projects the Bratz brand will have me for. I also hope to continue to take on more fun projects like this, or any other freelance work that comes my way!
