In human beings: kindness.
In everything else: Beauty, especially in my surroundings, like architecture and nature. The smell of fresh air.
Turn Offs?
In humans: Bad breath. And pro-fascist tendencies. Fortunately, by avoiding one, I can usually avoid the other.
In everything else: dirtiness and pollution.
Favorite Video Game?
Vagrant Story. The genius story, music, characters, and environmental design somehow manages to overcome the poor graphics and transport me into its world.
Favorite non-art pastime?
Walking around the city and listening to music.
Art Crush?
Olivier Copiel and Michael Guiang, for their masterful use of pencil line art. Nesskain, Simone DiMeo, Phecda, and Dravex for their brilliant approach to light and color.
Personal Crayon Color?
Full Moon White.
The moon is my favorite astrological body. I love how reliably cyclical she is, and so iconic and ever-present to us humans, despite being such a small and unassuming object in our solar system.
Why make art?
I love the unpredictability of art-making, the delight of seeing how a piece unfolds even if differs—as it often does—from your initial vision.
What's next?
Thinking about publishing a physical copy of my comic series, but that’s a plan still in its research phase.
